Dr. Emina Jelešković and ELIT PhD Student Ilma Hasić Attend DECODE Project Network Meeting in Graz, Austria

On June 24–25, 2025, Dr. Emina Jelešković from the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) participated in the Network Meeting of the project Developing Competences for Democratic Culture for Young Learners through Language Education (DECODE), held at the European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML) in Graz, Austria.

The DECODE project is supported by the ECML of the Council of Europe. The Network Meeting brought together participants from across Europe to discuss current trends in language education and explore how language teachers can support the development of democratic competences among students.

ELIT PhD student Ilma Hasić also took part in the meeting, where she shared her experiences teaching English as a foreign language to primary school students.
