Future ELIT and ELT Students Attend Wordy Event at IUS

On April 12, 2022, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) organized an event titled “Wordy” for prospective students interested in studying English language and literature (ELIT) and English language and literature, teaching (ELT) at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).

Future ELIT and ELT students had a unique opportunity to visit IUS, learn more about the University, meet with the professors and participate in interesting activities related to their study programs. One of the first activities was a creative writing workshop organized by Assistant Professor Dr. Nadira Puškar – Mustafić. Afterwards, guests had a chance to participate in simultaneous translation and interpretation workshop given by the Professional Associate (Methodologist) Emina Jelešković, which students found a bit difficult but very interesting. Potential students then paid a visit to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Dean, Associate Professor Dr. Ervin Kovačević who kindly welcomed them to IUS and shared more information about the activities at the ELIT and ELT programs. Lastly, guests had the opportunity to meet with the ELIT and ELT program coordinator, Associate Professor, Dr. Almasa Mulalić.

At the end of the event, students that attended Wordy event received certificates of appreciation and each attendee was rewarded with 25% scholarship bonus that they are able to combine with their IUS scholarship test result. We look forward to welcoming new ELIT and ELT students to the IUS family and congratulate our staff on organizing a very successful Wordy event.
